We partner with entire communities to help keep children safe and families together!

Church Partners

The backbone and strategy for Safe Families is faith communities. We mobilize local churches to lead family preservation efforts in their communities. When churches partner with Safe Families, they recruit and support volunteers from their congregation or the greater community.

Church partnerships are an integral part of our model as they help us maximize community involvement and minimize the need for greater organizational support.

We have 3 levels of participation with Safe Families.

Participating Church – Inform and encourage your congregation members to volunteer with Safe Families.
Lead Church – Inform and encourage your congregation members to volunteer with Safe Families as well as recruit and support volunteers within your congregation.
Community Lead Church – In addition to the opportunities provided by a Lead Church, a Community Lead Church extends support to volunteers in the community who do not attend a Safe Families Church.

Community Partners

Safe Families for Children Southwest Ohio has many dedicated partners who serve in both public and private capacities that address specific life vulnerabilities such as housing insecurity, unemployment, addiction, domestic violence, physical and mental health challenges, and many more.
